Women's Self-Defence Course

Direct Defence Krav Maga are the leading provider of personal safety and self-defence training in West Sussex and Brighton, and our Women's Self-Defence Course is going to give you the technical skills and and tactical knowledge to be able to avoid, prevent, and deal with a wide variety of physical threats and attacks, so that you never need to feel scared or vulnerable again.
Once you have gone through our training you will understand the dangers you may face, and be able to avoid bad situations much more effectively.
When you have been trained to handle all eventualities you will feel confident wherever you go, safe in the knowledge that, should the unthinkable happen, you'll be able to deal with it and get home safely.

Since you're reading this page either you are worried about your personal safety or you are looking to increase your ability to defend and protect yourself and your loved ones. Either way this course is going to be perfect for you.
It's a four part course, delivered once a week in a 3 hour session. Over the length of the course you will learn:
- How to detect and avoid potential dangers
- How to prevent an attacker from grabbing or hitting you
- How to fight back and defeat even a determined attacker
- Defence and fighting skills both standing and on the ground
- Dealing with threat situations
- Much more
In order to provide all this training to as high a standard as possible, the number of participants on this course will be strictly limited. Once the course is full you won't be able to get on it so if you want to take part make sure you book as soon as you can.
The course is suitable for all women over the age of 16 (under 18s will need parental permission).
No previous experience is necessary, the course is designed for complete beginners.
The course will consist primarily of physical training, so expect to be working up a sweat and getting a good work out (don't worry, you don't need to be super fit).
Above all else it will be great fun and you'll be learning a valuable life-skill which could save your life one day.
